Spend a day photographing the west central Adirondacks during the peak of fall color in the area, with Carl Heilman as your guide and instructor. After meeting briefly at The Wild Center for an introduction and to answer some initial questions, the rest of the day will be spent visiting and photographing at several different photo destinations along the roadways, lakes, and waterways within a reasonable distance of The Wild Center.
Carl brings over 40 years of photo experience and enthusiasm for many different aspects of photography to each workshop. A maximum of 8 participants, allows plenty of opportunities for individual interaction throughout the day on the different photo shoots.
The workshop fee includes all instruction and any handouts - but does not include lodging or additional meals. Please bring along whatever you would like for food and drink through the day. The workshop begins in the conference room at The Wild Center. We will carpool as needed to photo locations.
Cancellation and Refund Policy: If you cancel your registration 14 days or more before a program starts we will refund the full program cost. Cancellations received less than 14 days before the start of a program will not be refunded unless we can fill your reservation with another interested participant. The Wild Center reserves the right to cancel this trip based on severe weather or other hazardous conditions, in which case a full refund or transfer option will be provided.
