VISITOR CODE OF CONDUCT

These are challenging times. We are so glad that you are well. The Wild Center welcomes visitors from all backgrounds and has worked hard to make your time here a respite. We hope you enjoy who and what’s around you safely. To support positive visits, the Center expects the following from all Visitors:

  • Respect others. Be courteous to those around you in word and deed. Stay home if you are feeling sick.
  • Wear a face covering that covers your nose and mouth during your visit. Data has proven, this is the best way to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in public spaces.
  • Assume good intentions. Should a conflict arise please do not touch or verbally interact with other visitors - child or adult. If you need assistance, ask a Wild Center staff member.
  • Maintain a safe physical distance. You must maintain at least 6 feet between your group and the next visitor. We have limited the number of visits today to give you a safe experience. Please do not crowd or rush other visitors during your tour, and please do not linger too long holding up the groups behind you. Group size will be limited to no more than 10 per New York State regulations until further notice.
  • Follow hand hygiene guidelines and use our hand hygiene stations during your visit.
  • Refrain from touching or handling exhibits.

And if you start to feel ill during your visit, please alert staff and leave without delay.
